Why do I need to be ServSafe Certified? ServSafe Certification is required for all managers that handle food. This certification provides you with the necessary training in the following categories: basic food safety, personal hygiene, cross contamination, sanitation and more.
Can I use this certification in other restaurants? Absolutely! ServSafe is recognized nationally and expires at 5 years in most states. It also makes a great addition to your resume. Make sure to keep a copy for your personal files!
How long will it take me to get the certificate? That depends. Our class is normally 2 days with the test on the 2nd day. Results might take up to 2 weeks to give time for the National Restaurant Association to grade your test. If you elect to have us come to you and each person in your group has computer access for the test, you will receive same day results.
Do you offer a guarantee that I will pass? Unfortunately, like any test we cannot make that promise. We do however carry a pass rate of 94% and do everything in our power to make sure you are comfortable with the material. We offer practice tests, study guides and do a thorough summary before issuing the test.
